1. What changed in 2026?

According to the Hai Phong newspaper Bao Hai Phong (December 16, 2025), the city set new sightseeing fees for the Cat Ba Archipelago from January 1, 2026. The ones most visitors pay are the bay fee of VND 120,000 per adult per visit, the overnight fee for sleeping on the bay and the Cat Ba National Park ticket, which is priced by route.

Children under 6 don't pay. Older visitors, people with severe disabilities and some other groups get 50% off under city rules, so bring ID when you buy tickets.

2. Lan Ha Bay fees in 2026

You pay the bay fee each time you go out on Lan Ha Bay, whether on a tour or a private boat. Most day tours already include it, but it's worth checking when you book.

  • Adults: VND 120,000 per visit.
  • Children aged 6 and over: VND 60,000 per visit.
